Not-So-Traditional Pool

Have some fun in the sun or relax in the shade in the outdoor family pool. Six lap lanes and 1- and 3-meter diving boards are perfect for traditional swimming. Families with young children will love the zero-depth entry, kiddie spray island, and family slide. The basketball goal and floatable lily-pad walk will provide hours of enjoyment as you enjoy the Iowa sun. Shaded areas are availablae; take a quick nap or just watch the excitement unfold. Take in the view of beautiful Storm Lake from a lounge chair by the pool!

Turn Up The Volume

Those with an adventurous spirit will flock to the outdoor extreme body of water! Surrounded by the Castaway Channel lazy river, the five outdoor slides offer speed, twists, and more than a little adventure!

Discovery Plunge - an enclosed raft ride with virtual reality fun packed into a 420-foot descent! The slide features technology that allows riders to experience one of 8 different virtual reality action themes such as sea creatuares, storms, hot air balloon rides, and sharks. Riders select their "adventure" from a touch screen at the top of the slide tower, then experience this adventure on the descent - complete with sights and sounds! This technology is the first of its kind for Iowa waterparks, thanks to Splashtacular, Inc., the California-based company that created the patent pending technology.

Tyson Twisted Tornado - a splashbowl slide where riders test their skills by spinning around a large "bowl" before dropping into the pool below. Vetran waterpark enthusiasts know this takes some practice to master! A special thanks to Tyson Fresh Meats for making this signature slide possible.

Howling Hurricane - an open flume body slide that travels a winding course for more than 250 feet!

Mighty Mustang & Raging Panther - these dual speed slides offer an intense vertical rush from more than 100 feet above the water!
