The Witter Gallery
Features educational and enriching fine art exhibits in a variety of mediums, including painting, lithography, puppetry, sculpture and carving.

Harker House
Built in 1875, the Harker House is a preserved historic home filled with antique furniture. Visitors can step back in time with a guided tour of the home.

AWAYSIS Lighthouse
Visitors can get a birds-eye view of the Storm Lake landscape when they climb to the top of this decorative lighthouse located on the shore of Storm Lake.

Buena Vista County Historical Museum & Pioneer Heritage Center
This museum is housed in a 1916 building that was constructed for the assembly and sale of Ford automobiles. It has a permanent "Pioneer Main Street" display, which features model storefronts from the 1800s that depict early prairie life. The historical society also operates the Pioneer Heritage Center, which includes a furnished two-story log house built around 1871, and the Elk Township Country School, a perfect example of early one-room school houses.

Living Tree Heritage Museum
One of the largest tree museums in the country, the Living Tree Heritage Museum is located in Sunset Park, and features documented offspring of trees associated with famous people, including a descendent of one of the trees planted by Johnny Appleseed, and a willow descended from a willow tree at Joan of Arc's birthplace.
